Established in 2021, IBPL’s Biomass Collection Department is a pioneering force in Pakistan, revolutionizing the collection of previously untapped biomass resources through modern techniques. As a trusted partner for state governments and industries, we spearhead efforts to replace the practice of agricultural residue burning with waste-to-value systems. By 2030, our vision is to repurpose 25-50% of rice paddy straw and Sugarcane waste, currently burned, into a sustainable ecosystem that generates impactful environmental, social, health, and economic outcomes. Our program, launched in 2021, embodies a unique waste-to-value approach, aligning with United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and the Paris Climate Agreement. Through collaborative partnerships, we unite entrepreneurs, investors, innovators, farmers, and policymakers to create valuable products and services from agricultural waste, contributing to the global market.
